BMG Labtech can now be found on Facebook
BMG Labtech has entered the world of social networking and can now be found on Facebook.
Under its full name – the Microplate Reader Company – it says people can obtain updates about the latest news via its profile.
Facebook users can keep up with each other’s activities by becoming ‘friends’ and those who decide to do so with BMG Labtech can also find out about the group’s latest application notes and forthcoming events.
The site was founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg, who is said to have created the system while at Harvard University.
Meanwhile, BMG Labtech’s news follows an announcement earlier this year that a next-generation HTS microplate reader had been launched at Lab Automation 2009.
PheraStar FS was described by the company as the only solution for assay development and HTS.
"Expect superior performance and speed in all detection modes with unrivalled sensitivity," it added. "PHERAstar FS incorporates all of the features that one would expect from the ultimate high-end HTS microplate reader."
