Eisai has published a journal that covers over 300 topics.
Now in its third year of publication, the 2009 Eisai Senior Health Digest looks at issues such as medication compliance, pharmacy choices and health plans for stakeholders in the industry.
The purpose of the periodical is to provide information about how to facilitate the older generation, while offering an insight into this demographics’ mindset.
One particularly important topic Eisai discusses is how to curb escalating costs and medication adherence ? which it points out is vital as the senior population continues to grow.
The pharmaceutical business explained how the journal intends to help stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
It said: “The Digest provides a broad array of consumer information that may help managed care organizations tailor programs designed to help improve health outcomes.”
The publication is available for free and people can obtain it by logging onto the company’s website.
Last month, Eisai’s subsidiary Morphotek announced the Food and Drug Administration had agreed to a phase III clinical trial of farletuzumab to aid some ovarian cancer patients.
