L’Oreal names new faces

L’Oreal has announced three new faces for its advertising campaigns.

These are Frieda Pinto, Elizabeth Banks and Evangeline Lilly ? all of whom star on the small or big screen.

Lilly is known to audiences worldwide as Lost’s Kate Austen, while Banks has appeared in movies such as W and Seabiscuit.

Pinto is one of the most popular actresses in the industry at the moment after featuring in Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire.

“I am very moved to be joining the great L’Oreal Paris family and all these personalities – a family I am now proud to be a part of,” she said.

The company revealed the identity of the new models on the eve of this year’s Cannes Film Festival. It has used celebrities in its adverts for many years ? previous spokespeople include Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce Knowles and Penelope Cruz.

Brands under the L’Oreal umbrella include Biotherm, Kiehl’s and Cacharel, as well as hair care products such as Elvive and Professionnel.
