Abbott is excited to present its one-year results from the Spirit V study.
During the EuroPCR 2009 ? which is held in Barcelona between May 19th and 22nd ? the company will discuss data relating to its Xience V Eluting Coronary and the Xience Prime Everolimus Eluting Coronary stent systems.
Physicians can attend the meetings held at booth number CO8 and find out about the products.
Dr Charles Simonton is the divisional vice-president of medical affairs and chief medical officer of Abbott Vascular.
He noted the trials provided information about how Xience V can treat complex lesions, while the studies also illustrated the wide range of diseases seen in a catheterisation laboratory.
“In addition, we will be demonstrating the use of Xience Prime, the next innovation from our pipeline, through simulated arterial model testing at EuroPCR,” Dr Simonton concluded.
Last month, Abbott began clinical investigations to examine the safety and efficacy of the Absolute Pro Peripheral Self-Expanding Stent System in patients with iliac artery disease.
