Colgate-Palmolive says soap system is ideal for the style-conscious

Colgate-Palmolive has launched a product it said is designed for stylish home dwellers.

The Softsoap brand Ensembles gives consumers a refillable cleansing system that is low cost, has minimal mess and a strong sense of fashion.

As well as a decorative, disposable base, the products in the range also feature a reusable pump.

Once the fragranced, moisturising soap has been used up, the nozzle can be unscrewed and inserted into a new pre-filled bottle.

Philip Durocher from Colgate-Palmolive explained the system was inspired by the growing popularity of “do-it-yourself design”.

“It was our goal to create a collection of beautiful, affordable liquid hand soaps that would allow savvy consumers to easily update their home decor,” he said.

Mr Durocher concluded the products are ideal for those looking for high-end style on a budget.

Available styles include Purple, Green, Exotic Nature and Creamy Cotton.

On the Softsoap website, the company points out that regular hand washing can reduce the risk of spreading disease and infection.
