Advanced Medical Solutions signs deal with Stryker

Advanced Medical Solutions has announced the formation of a global partnership with Stryker for the distribution of LiquiBand products.

Stryker will have exclusive marketing and distribution rights for the cyanoacrylate adhesive wound closure products in the global cranio-maxillofacial markets.

The first activity will take place in Europe, though federal approval is still pending in the US. A phased rollout to the rest of the world is expected to take place after the European product launches.

Advanced Medical Solutions’ chief executive Dr Don Evans told said that the company believes a multiple partnership strategy is the best approach to optimising the commercialisation of the broad-use product line.

Commenting on the Stryker deal, he said: “As a leader in this surgical speciality, they are an ideal partner to create and develop this market for our products.”

Last month, Advanced Medical Solutions held its annual general meeting, at which all resolutions were passed by shareholders.
