Agilent introduces SureSelect DNA Capture Array

14th July 2009

Agilent has unveiled the SureSelect DNA Capture Array, a piece of hardware capable of removing a major bottleneck in small-scale DNA studies.

The organisation explained that the hardware, which allows scientists to sequence only genomic areas of interest using next-generation sequencing (NGS) tools, complements its in-solution SureSelect Target Enrichment System.

In addition, Agilent also now offers a new high sensitivity DNA kit, which it says offers quality control on the 2100 Bioanalyzer.

Fred Ernani, emerging genomics applications product manager at Agilent, said that the company offers a range of products that help staff in laboratories that undertake NGS to enhance the efficiency of these experiments.

"SureSelect DNA Capture Array is well suited for the researcher who needs a cost-effective target enrichment tool for a small number of samples," he added.

Earlier this month, Agilent announced the introduction of an interference analyser option for its FieldFox RF Analyzer handheld device, which is used for wireless installation and maintenance.ADNFCR-1050-ID-19264368-ADNFCR
