Thermo Fisher Scientific highlights workflow solution capacity

Thermo Fisher Scientific has highlighted its capacity to offer complete workflow solutions for clinical research applications.

In a statement, the company explained that these include analytical instrumentation, laboratory equipment, reagents, assay kits and other consumables.

Products in the firm’s range of offerings include general-purpose centrifuges, which are designed for enhanced throughput and productivity, a number of financial services programmes and a clinical research and forensic toxicology screening solution.

Dr Ian Jardine, vice-president of global research and development for Thermo Fisher Scientific, said: "As a market leader in specialty diagnostics, we have a unique offering of Thermo Scientific solutions for all stages of the clinical chemistry workflow."

He added that corporate events and conferences offer the company the chance to meet with potential clients as well as existing customers in order to demonstrate Thermo Fisher Scientific’s "breadth of solutions" for use in clinical research applications.

Thermo Fisher Scientific is set to announce its financial results for the second quarter of 2009 tomorrow (July 23rd).
