Henry Schein launches courses for dental faculties and students
Henry Schein has introduced a new project which will see it showcase emerging dental technology as it provides dental students and faculties with remote access to live-patient continuing education courses.
Alongside the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA), the firm will provide students and university departments with access to continuing education courses held at the 2009, 2010 and 2011 ADA Annual Session and World Marketplace Exhibition.
This will give individuals the opportunity to become familiar with the latest cutting-edge procedures that they may never before have encountered.
Tim Sullivan, president of Henry Schein Dental, said: “Henry Schein Dental shares the ADA’s and ADEA’s commitment to enhancing dental education and believes that this programme will enhance the sharing of best practices throughout the dental community.”
In early September, Henry Schein issued advice to dentists on how they can minimise the risk of the H1N1 influenza virus from spreading in their practises.
