Cannon Hygiene raises awareness of hand hygiene importance
Cannon Hygiene has emphasised how integral it is to keep hands clean during the influenza season by highlighting the issue at Leisure Industry Week 2009.
The firm’s stall at the event included an interactive feature entitled How safe are your hands? amid the recent concern about the spread of swine flu and outbreaks of E.coli at animal petting farms.
Using a bacteria monitor provided by scientific instrument manufacturer 3M, Cannon Hygiene offered attendees from leisure centres and sports clubs, hotels, holiday businesses and childcare organisations hand swab testing.
According to Pat Gillingham, the company’s sales director, Leisure Industry Week provided the “perfect opportunity to demonstrate to businesses in the leisure market how Cannon Hygiene can help to protect their staff, customers and reputation by providing quality and value for money hygiene products”.
Last month, Canon Hygiene revealed the measures its employees take to help tackle identity theft, an announcement that preceded National Identity Fraud Protection Week which ran between October 6th and 12th.
