Elsevier publishes new plastic surgery volume

29th October 2009

Elsevier has announced the publication of a new book entitled Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

The comprehensive volume features a number of international contributors and is edited by Dr Sherrell Aston, Dr Douglas Steinbrech and Dr Jennifer Walden, a trio of renowned plastic surgeons based in New York.

Information on every major cosmetic surgery procedure is contained in the publication, including details of endoscopic mid and lower face rejuvenation, cohesive gel breast augmentation and injectables such as Botox and Radiesse.

Sue Hodgson, publishing director for global medicine at Elsevier, said that the book offers “stepwise guidance to techniques” for plastic surgeons.

She added: “All of the major contemporary procedures in aesthetic plastic surgery are covered and described by the experts in the field.”

Aesthetic Plastic Surgery features detailed illustrations and comes with a bonus DVD.

Earlier this month, Elsevier announced details of a new partnership with Peking University to publish the proceedings of the Beijing Forum through its online resource Procedia.
