Fisher and Paykel Healthcare announces latest financial results
Fisher and Paykel Healthcare has published its financial results for the third quarter of 2009.
The figures show profit of NZ$37.0 million (16.1 million pounds) for the six months ended September 30th 2009, which the company states is a record level.
It marks an increase of 31 per cent, compared to the correlating period of 2008.
This increased success is attributed to particularly strong revenue growth in the firm’s obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) portfolio, as well as increased demand for its respiratory products.
Paykel Healthcare’s chief executive officer Michael Daniell commented: “Constant currency operating revenue growth for OSA masks and flow generators was a very robust 20 per cent, as we gained market share with our new premium products.”
Fisher and Paykel entered into respiratory care in 1971 and now offers products and systems for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea, as well as items for neonatal care and operating rooms.
