Integrated Healthcare Solutions and Scientific Staff Consultants’ parent company goes into administration

PharmaSmart, a global parent company of several recruitment organisations, has gone into administration, it has been reported.

The firm was the ultimate parent enterprise of a group that was initially made up of a range of companies operating in the recruitment sector.

Businesses within the group included pharmaceutical, healthcare and medical recruitment firm Integrated Healthcare Solutions – which was established in 2001 – as well as medical device and pharmaceutical headhunting business Pan-Medica.

Healthcare sales and marketing agency Scientific Staff Consultants – which claims to be the longest-established company of its kind in the UK, having formed in 1974 – was also a member of the group.

Peter Kubik and Andrew Andronikou of Quadrant House in London were appointed as practitioners of the administration for PharmaSmart on December 3rd.
