Mast Group’s profile ‘raised by conference’

Mast Group has claimed that its attendance at the recent scientific event ArabLab 2010 has resulted in greater interest in its products and services.

According to the organisation, the convergence, which was held in Dubai, has brought about more enquiries into its range of products for the detection of ESL organisms.

In particular, a technical poster designed by David Livermore has proved to be extremely popular among prospective clients, it added, something the firm believes indicates the increasing prevalence of these pathogens across the globe.

During the meeting, a common theme raised by attendees was the detection of antibiotic resistance, according to the Group, which engaged in discussions on the cost-effective and rapid diagnosis of this problem.

Earlier this week, Mast Group pointed out that some of the products it offers could assist in the detection of novovirus – which is currently resulting in the closure of many hospital wards in the UK.
