Synergy Health appoints new finance director

Synergy Health has appointed Gavin Hill as its new finance director.

The chartered accountant and associate member of the Institute of Corporate Treasurers will take up the position – as well as a seat on the board of directors – from April 26th and the company’s chief executive Richard Steeves said he is delighted to have him onboard.

“I am sure that he will make a major contribution to Synergy’s continued success and I look forward to working with Gavin,” he remarked.

Mr Hill has spent the last eight years working for Serco Group, where he is currently corporate finance director.

During his career he has also worked in the finance and corporate treasury departments of AstraZeneca and Syngenta.

He will replace incumbent finance director Ivan Jacques, who informed Synergy’s board toward the end of last year of his intention to retire after performing the role at the company since 2003.
