Athena Medical makes new appointments to PR team

Athena Medical has made two new appointments to its healthcare sector PR team with the hiring of James Langridge and Olivia Bomy.

The healthcare communications firm has appointed Mr Langridge and Ms Bomy to new roles as account coordinator and account executive respectively, reports PR Week.

In his new position, Mr Langridge will take responsibility for a number of medical communications accounts, with a focus on the oncology sector.

Meanwhile, Ms Bomy will be offering support to the company’s medical education accounts team and will deal primarily with issues of mental health.

These appointments come in the same week that former Athena account executive Sarah Tomlinson was selected for a new role as a team member at the Chandler Chicco PR agency.

The medical public relations firm currently employs a team of more than 25 specialists from a variety of different backgrounds, such as pharmaceuticals, bioscience, journalism and marketing.
