Buchi launches new industrial distillation device

Buchi has launched a new version of its established Rotavapor R-220 industrial distillation product, which it claims offers a number of advantages over the previous model.

The new Rotavapor R-220 SE is designed to be safer, more convenient and more versatile than the existing unit, which has now been on the market for more than ten years.

Among the new features offered by the SE model is an LCD screen, which allows for quick access to information, as well as an integrated vacuum controller.

The new unit also comes equipped with a bath replenishment feature, coolant temperature sensor and level sensors for the receiving flask, facilitating accurate performance.

Meanwhile, data recording via USB flash memory has also been enabled on the newly-launched unit.

Last week, the scientific equipment company launched the SpeedDigester K-425 and K-436, two devices which are designed to allow for precise and efficient treatment of laboratory samples.
