Manning Selvage and Lee creates personal care unit
Manning Selvage and Lee has launched a new personal care business unit to expand its range of services for sellers of consumer health products.
The agency’s new unit will combine expertise from the healthcare, pharmaceuticals and consumer sectors to head the new practice, which in its current incarnation has represented brands such as Crest, Prilosec and Oral-B.
Amanda Glasgow, Catherine Falcetti and Carson Gray Elias will take charge of the business unit, having previously worked with healthcare-oriented firms such as Procter and Gamble, Johnson and Johnson, Lilly and Genentech.
Ms Glasgow stated that the agency’s personal care division will assist clients in coping with the increasing convergence between the healthcare and beauty sectors.
She said it will help to address “the consumer’s evolving mindset, needs and concerns by bringing the best experts in healthcare, beauty and packaged goods together for our clients”.
In February, the firm recruited Joan Cetera as senior vice-president of its consumer home and wellness division, managing its relationship with Procter and Gamble among other firms.
