Surgichem unveils new product range

Surgichem has announced that its new series of Nomad medication storage cabinets is now available.

The range includes controlled drug cabinets and self-administration cabinets designed for use in care homes and hospitals, as well as a range of steel medication wall cabinets.

Compliant with the Missue of Drugs (Safe Custody) regulations 1973 and
British Standard (BS) guidelines, the controlled drug storage devices feature an adjustable shelf and advanced locking system.

Surgichem’s steel cabinets also meet BS guidelines and are equipped to stow six or eight medication hoops.

The models can be mounted on the wall or floor and are available in three specifications, priced at £350, £490 and £540.

A version with eight adjustable shelves and eight internal door shelves for extra capacity is also available.

Each new product is designed to reflect Surgichem’s Nomad brand, which remains one of the leading monitored dosage systems in the UK.

According to the firm, a network of more than 4,500 pharmacies in the UK and Ireland currently use the system.
