Huntsworth Health acquires ScopeMedical
Huntsworth Health has agreed a deal which will see it acquire fellow healthcare marketing agency ScopeMedical in a deal valued at 4.6 million pounds.
The deal sees the Huntsworth group take ownership of the ScopeMedical agency from Jeremy Williams, William Allingham and one other shareholder, thereby allowing Huntsworth Health to expand its client list and global reach.
ScopeMedical operates in both Europe and America and provides services such as strategic communications, event management and advocacy development.
Mr Williams and Mr Allingham will both remain with the company as it becomes part of the Huntsworth Health brand and will continue to play a key role in its future development.
Neil Matheson, chief executive of Huntsworth Health, said: “We are delighted to welcome ScopeMedical to our family of best-in-class agencies.”
Huntsworth Health’s most recent financial report showed that the firm enjoyed a strong first quarter of 2010, experiencing a 40 per cent year-on-year increase in new business.
