Steris rebrands hand hygiene compliance services

16th September 2010

Steris has rebranded its hand hygiene compliance offering for healthcare providers as part of a move to offer a wider and more comprehensive service.

Its new ComplyTrack Hand Hygiene Compliance Platform will consist of the FasTrack and AccuTrack programmes and will provide a number of different ways of monitoring infection and cleanliness standards in hospitals.

The FasTrack system, which is launching next month, is an automated tool for tracking and providing reports on hand hygiene product purchases across multiple sites, which infection specialists can retrieve for their own needs.

Meanwhile, the AccuTrack programme builds on Steris' previous Partners in Your Care offering, providing more detailed and in-depth information than FasTrack.

Tim Chapman, senior vice-president and group president for healthcare at Steris, said: "We expect to continue enhancing our compliance solutions for the benefit of infection preventionists, hospital staff and ultimately their patients."

Last month, Steris published its financial report for the three months ending June 30th 2010, a period which saw the firm experience a three per cent year-on-year increase in healthcare revenues.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800067540-ADNFCR
