Advanced Surgical Design and Manufacture outlines growth plans
Advanced Surgical Design and Manufacture (ASDM) has detailed some of the business strategies it will be employing in the coming months in order to drive growth for the company.
The medical technology firm has commenced a strategic review of its research and development activities to improve their focus on initiatives which will deliver long-term potential.
As part of this, projects such as the company's PAD Device for HELP Treatment are being returned to the manufacturing only stage until the commencement of this review.
PAD technology was licensed for commercialisation from AllVascular in July 2010 and has proven to be effective in stimulating blood flow during clinical trials.
In addition, ASDM confirmed that it will be expanding its successful Active Total Knee Replacement range with new offerings, as well as launching new implantable orthopaedic medical devices.
ASDM chief executive officer and managing director Dr Greg Roger said: "It's time now to really leverage our position in the market and seek to dramatically expand our sales and raise our profit."
