Heraeus launches posterior composite for dental restorations

4th October 2010

Heraeus has announced the launch of a new posterior composite product which is designed to allow for the provision of durable esthetic restorations.

Venus Bulk Fill is a low-stress, flowable material which offers benefits such as low shrinkage stress, high radiopacity and superior wear resistance, allowing restorations to be implemented easily and cost-effectively.

It is the latest addition to the company's Venus Esthetic System range and can be used in conjunction with existing products such as the Venus Diamond composite.

Chris Holden, president of Heraeus, said the new bulk fill composite has been designed to cater to dentists' needs for a product which offers "a high depth of cure with a long working time".

He added: "Heraeus is delivering on its pledge to continually strive to improve our current products and still provide innovative new technologies for our customers."

Earlier this year, the company launched the Venus White range of tooth-whitening agents for patients at a variety of treatment levels.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800097391-ADNFCR
