Welch Allyn launches Connex ProBP 3400 blood pressure device

5th October 2010

Welch Allyn has announced the launch of a new handheld digital blood pressure device that is optimised for ease of use.

The Connex ProBP 3400 has been introduced in territories outside the US and Canada, utilising Welch Allyn SureBP technology to deliver fast and accurate blood pressure readings.

Its compact design allows it to be carried by hand, wheeled on a mobile stand or secured to a wall, while also incorporating lithium ion battery technology that powers the device for around 150,000 cycles.

Lari Shreffler, global product marketing manager at Welch Allyn, also pointed to its safety-focused design and USB, Bluetooth and wireless connectivity as other benefits.

"In today's demanding healthcare environment, providers sometimes need a single, simple and easy-to-use blood pressure device that can capture readings quickly, easily and accurately," added the Welch Allyn representative.

In August 2010, the company launched a new offering of long-lasting LED replacement lamps for its range of otoscopes and ophthalmoscopes.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800099181-ADNFCR
