Buchi launches new recirculating chillers for laboratories

Buchi has announced the launch of an improved range of recirculating chillers, which deliver a range of advantageous qualities for those in laboratory settings.

The new units are offered in a variety of specifications and function seamlessly with Buchi's rotary evaporators and vacuum controllers.

Among the advantages of the new units are their environmental and efficiency benefits, offering minimal heat emission, an integrated automatic standby mode and an energy-saving design.

They are also optimised for ease of use, providing an informative digital display, simplified button interface and lockable wheels for convenient transportation.

The manufacturer stated: "Whether you are using rotary evaporators, parallel evaporators, soxhlet extraction or nitrogen determination devices, Buchi supplies multiple new chiller models to cover the complete application range."

In July 2010, Buchi sponsored the prestigious Richard R Ernst Lecture, which was given this year by former UN secretary general Kofi Annan on the role of scientists in furthering the public good.
