Genitrix donates medication to assist guinea pig sanctuary

20th October 2010

Genitrix has made a donation of animal health products to Cavy Corner, a guinea pig sanctuary based in Doncaster.

The veterinary medicines firm contributed supplies of Mycozole and Oxbow Critical Care to help founder Sue Tate and her staff treat more than 100 animals in their care.

According to Ms Tate, the donation of Mycozole has played a key role in addressing ringworm problems among the rescued guinea pigs, clearing up longstanding infections quickly and preventing the spread of illness.

She also stated that using the Oxbox Critical Care product has helped her to reintroduce animals with disrupted dietary habits to regular eating.

"I'm very grateful to Genitrix for donating Mycozole and Oxbow Critical Care. I've found them excellent and highly efficacious to use and now recommend them regularly," added Ms Tate.

Last month, the company announced that it will be providing its veterinary clients with free dosing wheels to facilitate administration of its canine epilepsy treatment Libromide.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800126920-ADNFCR
