Quintiles and Kadrige ally on physician detailing partnership

Quintiles is collaborating with e-detailing and multichannel sales solutions specialist Kadrige to deliver an innovative new hybrid approach to physician detailing.

The companies are allying to offer European and US pharmaceutical clients a new healthcare visit model which combines face-to-face physician discussions with remote e-detailing calls.

This modernised promotional model makes it simpler, cheaper and more effective for companies to demonstrate the value of their therapies, as well as providing greater flexibility.

Quintiles and Kadrige state that the partnership is the first of its kind in the industry and will help pharmaceutical firms to reduce one of their largest traditional fixed costs.

Michael Ackermann, senior vice-president of commercialisation for Quintiles, said: "With Kadrige, we can revolutionise the lifecycle implementation of a brand by customising physician detailing in accordance with its lifecycle need."

Earlier this month, Quintiles was awarded the best clinical research organisation prize at the Scrip Awards for the second consecutive year.
