De Facto Communications’ news flow for Almac wins award

22nd December 2010

De Facto Communications' work in creating a news flow communications strategy for pharmaceutical services provider Almac has won an industry award.

At the recent 2010 Genesis Awards annual gala dinner in London, Almac was presented with the title of news flow of the year thanks to the quality and quantity of stories it has delivered.

The news flow strategy was devised by De Facto following discussions with Almac in order to establish how to match external perceptions of the firm with its internal offerings.

This led to the development of a company-wide communications plan, encompassing targeted media lists and multiple expertise marketing communications initiatives.

De Facto Communications' associate director Tristan Jervis said: "This innovative approach has enabled the company to produce a constant stream of highly targeted coverage, whilst enabling Almac to more closely mirror its internal structure externally."

Earlier this year, De Facto Communications was selected by Sphere Medical to conduct a marketing campaign for its real-time blood chemistry monitoring technology.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800307107-ADNFCR
