Norgine appoints new corporate team members

Norgine has announced the appointment of Allison McAulay and Janet Granger as new members of its corporate and business development team.

Ms McAulay has been named as the pharmaceutical company's new business development manager, while Ms Granger has been selected for the role of evaluation and alliance manager.

Both staff members have been a part of Norgine since 2007, with Ms Granger having served for 13 years with fellow healthcare firm Stiefel Laboratories prior to joining the company.

Meanwhile, Ms McAulay's past responsibilities include a spell in the European and global marketing divisions of Schering in Berlin.

A statement from the company said: "Both Janet and Allison are highly experienced managers and they will be a valuable addition to Norgine's corporate and business development department."

Last month, Norgine announced plans to restructure its drug development department for greater effectiveness, including the creation of three therapy area development teams led by specific directors.
