Galderma commences global Emervel rollout

Galderma has announced the launch of its new Emervel range of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, designed for the treatment of facial lines, contouring and volume loss.

The dermatologic products have received CE Mark accreditation and include offerings such as Emervel Classic and Emervel Deep, both of which have proven their efficacy in clinical trials.

Galderma has incorporated Optimal Balance Technology into the range, a manufacturing technique that allows the fillers to integrate completely into the appropriate skin layer, providing long-lasting aesthetic benefits.

The Emervel products will be introduced in a number of territories, including the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Argentina, over the course of the year.

In November 2010, Galderma announced positive data from a clinical study of Oracea, a potentially promising new therapy option for papulopustular rosacea.
