Owen Mumford recruits general manager for Cotswold

Owen Mumford has announced the appointment of Jonathan Byrne as general manager of its Cotswold division.

The newly-selected manager will report directly to head of operations Modestino Graziano and will take responsibility for the company's state-of-the-art production site in Chipping Norton, which was expanded significantly in 2007.

In addition to his expertise in fields such as chemical and bioprocess engineering, Mr Byrne also holds significant medical industry experience, having served as a senior manager for GE Healthcare and Schering-Plough in the past.

He expressed excitement over the opportunity to join a company that is predicted to experience significant growth over the coming years.

Mr Graziano added: "His expertise in leading teams, coupled with advanced engineering and technical knowledge of medical device manufacturing, makes him perfectly positioned to take on this very important position at our Cotswold division."

Owen Mumford has been operating since 1952 and has headquarters in the US, Germany and France in addition to its UK sites.
