Bauerfeind introduces next-generation GenuTrain knee support

22nd February 2011

Bauerfeind has launched a new and improved version of its long-established GenuTrain knee support system.

The next-generation upgrade of the product, which was originally launched in 1981, features Omega pad technology to provide further joint stability, relieve pain and promote proprioception.

It features an integrated donning aid and a soft knit in the posterior knee region for added comfort, while it is also being made available in several new sizes to make it usable by a wider range of customers.

Bauerfeind credits the original GenuTrain – which was the first anatomically-contoured knee support product to be released – with "revolutionising" the market on its initial launch.

The manufacturer states that it provides an "innovative combination of compression and stabilisation with exceptional proprioceptive response".

Products in the GenuTrain range include the GenuTrain P3, which offers additional support for the kneecap during movement, as well as the GenuTrain S, which incorporates lateral joint splints for extra stability.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800420481-ADNFCR
