Elsevier and dbMotion to offer new health analytics solutions

Elsevier has entered into partnership with dbMotion to offer new health analytics solutions for the healthcare payer and provider markets.

The publisher's health information subsidiary Elsevier/MEDai will utilise its analytics solutions in conjunction with dbMotion's semantic interoperability platform to provide clients with access to advanced reporting and modelling tools, as well as a robust clinical dataset.

Offering business intelligence and clinical guidance based on predictive analytics and modelling, the new solutions are designed to help users base their decisions on more accurate data.

The platform is set to be utilised by Sharp HealthCare as one of the first users of the collaboratively-developed system.

Swati Abbott, president for Elsevier/MEDai, said the offering provides "timely, accurate and actionable information to improve operational efficiencies and ultimately, patient care".

This comes after Elsevier/MEDai launched a new version of its real-time clinical surveillance system Pinpoint Review earlier this month.
