Software of Excellence supplies solutions to former TAB Dental customers

Software of Excellence has provided dental practice management software to a number of UK dentists that were previously using solutions from TAB Dental.

The company has offered 200 practices a no-cost transfer to the Exact Evolution system after TAB Dental announced it is no longer able to meet its support and product upgrade commitments ahead of forthcoming fee structure changes, reports Dentistry.co.uk.

Software of Excellence has therefore allied with TAB Dental owners Robert and Tracy Collar to transition the practices to the new solution, while also offering the option to upgrade to Exact Professional.

It stated that other TAB customers will be given the opportunity to transfer to Exact Evolution for free until April 1st 2011, when the new fee structure comes into effect.

Brian Weatherly, Software of Excellence's managing director, said: "We have been able to provide a no-cost, minimum fuss solution that offers TAB Dental customers a like-for-like featured product."

Last month, Software of Excellence revealed that it has received its best-ever customer satisfaction rating in an independent study by research consultancy Converso.
