Cook Medical appoints vice-president for interventional radiology
Cook Medical has announced that Dan Sirota has been promoted to the position of vice-president of its interventional radiology (IR) division.
Mr Sirota has been with the company since 1987 and has acted as global business leader for the IR unit since its launch in 2009.
Prior to this, he has served in roles such as critical care marketing manager and senior product manager for the peripheral intervention division.
In his new position, Mr Sirota will continue to take responsibility for the product development, financial performance and sales and marketing for the IR business unit, driving its performance in the US and internationally.
Pete Yonkman, executive vice-president for strategic business units at Cook Medical, said: "Having someone with Dan's passion for excellence and commitment to outstanding customer relations leading that division will be key to its ongoing growth and success globally."
Last month, the medical technology firm announced that Joe Roberts has been appointed as its new vice-president of corporate development.
