Dako wins award for driving Fisher HealthCare growth

21st April 2011

Dako has been presented with an award by its partner Fisher HealthCare, recognising the growth experienced by the latter company thanks to the former's services.

The science firm's reagent partnership division was named as the Fisher HealthCare supplier that has achieved the largest percentage growth year over year, based on the success of the alliance forged between the companies in 2009.

Under the terms of this deal, Fisher HealthCare has been able to distribute Dako flow cytometry reagents in certain territories, which has helped to deliver a growth rate of more than 18 percent for the company.

In claiming this prize, Dako saw off competition from hundreds of other suppliers, providing around one million unique products.

Christina Lindved Turner, vice-president of Dako's reagent partnership division, said: "It shows that our strong focus on the motivational drivers of the Fisher HealthCare sales force has fostered a consistently high demand for our reagents."

Last month, the firm published its 2010 financial results, reporting a new record performance in terms of revenues and operating profit.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800509561-ADNFCR
