Anachem launches new pipette validation tool

Anachem has announced the launch of a new online tool that allows laboratory staff to evaluate the condition of their pipetting equipment.

The PipetteChecker On-Line Pipette Validation Tool allows users to check if their pipettes require maintenance by entering on the website the weights of a series of volumes of water dispensed from the devices.

Calculations are performed by the service to compare this data to the range expected by the manufacturer, before delivering an in-depth report on whether each pipette remains within specification.

According to the company, this allows scientists to quickly and easily ascertain whether pipettes require repairs or calibration without needing to leave the laboratory.

"At Anachem we understand that the integrity of your work is vital and so we are constantly striving to create new ways for you to keep your pipettes in excellent condition," the firm said.

Earlier this year, Anachem announced the opening of a new UKAS-accredited pipette service centre in Luton.
