Dr Foster Intelligence to restructure its operations
Dr Foster Intelligence has announced plans to restructure its operations as it seeks to refocus on its core business areas.
The organisation is set to undergo streamlining as it aims to focus more closely on benchmarking quality and efficiency within healthcare, including services such as the development of comparators to analyse how variations in working practices affect care quality.
Since its foundation in 2001, the organisation has worked in tandem with the NHS to provide informatics and other consultancy services which are designed to ultimately make a difference to outcomes.
Tim Baker, chief executive officer (CEO) of Dr Foster Intelligence, said its restructuring is a response to the changes that the NHS has undergone in recent years.
"Dr Foster will continue in its long-term goal of driving improvements in service delivery, patient outcomes and efficiency savings in the UK and globally," he added.
Mr Baker is filling the CEO role on an interim basis following the departure of former head Tom Moloney earlier this year.
