Ipsen appoints new human resources leader

12th May 2011

Ipsen has announced the appointment of Etienne de Blois as its new executive vice-president of human resources.

Mr de Blois, who is also joining the company's executive committee with this appointment, has been with Ipsen for almost two decades and has occupied a number of roles within its international operations.

Between 1995 and 2001, he was responsible for leading the firm's operations in Spain, before joining its French business unit in the position of general manager from 2001 onwards.

His credentials include qualifications from the Institute of Political Sciences and the Executive MBA-CPA of HEC School of Management in Paris.

Mr de Blois has been appointed to this position following the departure of previous executive vice-president for human resources Frederic Babin, who left Ipsen earlier this month to pursue a career elsewhere.

Executive vice-president for corporate development Stephane Thiroloix departed the company at the same time, with his replacement set to be named soon.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800529342-ADNFCR
