Life Healthcare Communications appoints digital head
Life Healthcare Communications has announced the appointment of Faisal Ahmed as its new head of digital marketing.
Mr Ahmed joins the Berkshire-based agency from fellow healthcare communications firm Langland, where he was employed for around two years, reports InPharm.
During that time, he helped to launch one of the first mobile applications for the pharmaceutical sector, as well as playing a key role in the launch of Genzyme's augmented reality heart health website.
Prior to this, he was also one of the founders of Amazon.co.uk and has been involved in the design of the official websites of most Premier League football clubs.
Life explained that the appointment of Mr Ahmed is representative of its commitment to digital design and marketing as being "integral to the future of healthcare communications".
This comes in the same month that the agency revamped its brand image with the introduction of a new corporate logo.
