UCB appoints new executive committee members
UCB has announced the appointment of two new members of its executive committee, who will assume their roles at the start of July 2011.
The reorganisation will see Jean-Christophe Tellier, formerly of Ipsen, join the company as its new executive vice-president (EVP) and president of European operations.
Meanwhile, current senior vice-president and president of UCB's North American operations Greg Duncan will become EVP and president of the same division.
The appointment of these two committee members will allow Mark McDade, UCB's EVP for global operations and chief operating officer, to increase his focus on initiating international growth strategies.
It comes as part of UCB's plans to enhance its corporate expansion in 2012 and build on recent advances in its late-stage pipeline.
Earlier this month, the company published its financial report for the first quarter of 2011, a period which saw UCB experience a 13 percent year-on-year growth in revenue.
