Bedfont Scientific named as finalist for two KEIBA accolades

Bedfont Scientific has been named as a finalist for a pair of prizes at this year's Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEIBA).

The medical technology manufacturer has been chosen as one of the top three candidates in the region in the categories of SME Business of the Year and Science and/or Technology Business of the Year.

It was shortlisted for both accolades earlier this month and has now been confirmed as a finalist following interviews with the judging panel.

Organised by Kent County Council and the Kent Messenger Group, the KEIBA ceremony is intended to honour excellence among local enterprises and will be presented on June 30th 2011.

Jason Smith, UK sales and marketing manager for Bedfont Scientific, said: "To win these awards will add to our company profile and will say a lot about the ongoing quality and hard work of the whole organisation."

This comes after the company won the Business of the Year title at the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Awards 2011 in March.
