BCF Technology supplies Zonare device to University of Liverpool

BCF Technology has supplied the University of Liverpool with an ultrasound system manufactured by Zonare, for use in its Small Animal Teaching Hospital.

The facility has become the first veterinary hospital in the UK to take possession of a Zonare Z.one ultrasound device, allowing it to benefit from high-resolution imaging, automatic image optimisation and sound speed correction.

BCF is the exclusive distributor of Zonare devices in the UK and Ireland, with devices such as Z.one acting as a complement to its own offerings.

Fraser McConnell, senior lecturer in diagnostic imaging at BCF Technology, stated that the system has helped the hospital to cope with an increased workload and is delivering an impressive performance for a device of its small size.

He added: "We know BCF Technology well and are confident in their capability to provide high-quality imaging equipment and service specifically to the veterinary profession."

Last month, the company launched the Easi-Scan remote display device, a transflective screen that can be used as an alternate viewing option for its Easi-Scan and Duo-Scan ultrasound scanners.
