Quintiles recognised among top European workplaces

Quintiles has been named as one of the top places to work in Europe in a new report conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute.

The organisation has named Quintiles as one of the continent's top 25 employers, based on a culture audit and a survey of employee trust.

It was deemed that the biopharmaceutical services provider has succeeded in creating a culture in which staff are proud of their work and have a great deal of trust in their employers.

Mike Mortimer, Quintiles' chief administrative officer, said: "I am incredibly proud of the teams across Europe for their part in making this happen. Their passion for doing the right thing for patients … helps improve the lives of millions of people."

This comes after the company won Great Place to Work awards in four European nations in 2011, including in the UK.

Additionally, Training magazine named Quintiles as one of the world's best providers of workforce training and development programmes earlier this year.
