Quintiles launches Quintiles Infosario information platform

Quintiles has announced the launch of a new web-based business-to-business platform that facilitates better collaboration and decision-making among drug developers.

The Quintiles Infosario reporting and analytics technology functions by integrating, synchronising and standardising subject, operational and management data across a number of different systems.

This allows users to interact with data in a more efficient manner and draw meaningful insights to inform clinical processes, while the system also provides functions such as safety and clinical trial management on a systems-as-a-service basis.

Quintiles Infosario's reporting and analytics capabilities will be the first features made available to clients, with selected users being able to access them later this month.

Tom Grundstrom, Quintiles Infosario global head, said: "Through the platform's intuitive user interface, key stakeholders will be able to make faster, better-informed decisions about the programmes and therapies they are working on."

Last week, it was announced that Quintiles will be supporting drug development activities at Kareus Therapeutics as part of a collaborative alliance between the two organisations.
