Park House Healthcare honours longest-serving employee

Park House Healthcare has honoured its longest-serving member of staff Janet Backhouse for the service she has given the company over the last 25 years.

Marking the 25th anniversary of the medical equipment firm's foundation, Park House has held a special event to commemorate the work of production manager Ms Backhouse since 1986.

She was originally the organisation's first and only sewing machinist and has risen through the corporate ranks over the last two-and-a-half decades to take charge of all areas of production.

Managing director Stephen Owens joined with various colleagues to congratulate Ms Backhouse at an occasion at the firm's headquarters in Birkenshaw, West Yorkshire.

She said: "I don't know where the last 25 years has gone. I have thoroughly enjoyed been part of a successful and growing company with a great future."

Earlier this month, 27 members of Park House's staff were presented with Qualification Achievements to recognise their success in recent career development programmes conducted by the company.
