Dechra launches new flea solutions for cats and dogs
Dechra Veterinary Products has announced the launch of new treatments for the prevention of flea infestations in dogs and cats.
Fiprocat and Fiprodog are the latest additions to the company's Veterinary Essentials range and are spot-on solutions that are designed to offer efficacious and cost-effective results.
The post-patent products contain fipronil – one of the most commonly used on-animal flea treatments – and are being sold in packs of three or six self-standing pipettes, which makes application easy and convenient.
They complement the manufacturer's existing selection of anti-flea therapies, including RIP Fleas Extra, and can also be utilised as a means of treating flea allergy dermatitis.
Rob Simpson of Dechra said: "Fipronil has been used in the treatment and prevention of on-animal flea infestations for many years."
Last month, the company conducted a charity event at its base in Shrewsbury in order to raise money for Horses help Heroes, with a final total of 2,254 pounds having been generated.
