Rowlands launches clinical leadership development scheme
Rowlands has launched a new scheme that will see it aiming to develop clinical leaders in order to aid collaboration between pharmacies and the health service as a whole.
A new company document has revealed that Rowlands will create clinical leaders in each of its 15 core health communities, which will help future healthcare commissioners to work more closely with the pharmacy sector.
It will also help to ensure the firm remains engaged with the NHS Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention agenda, while also striving to deliver health improvements, reports Chemist and Druggist.
Liz Stafford, the national primary care liaison manager at Rowlands, said this document will demonstrate what it can offer to commissioners.
"The idea is that every year we will have a review and every year we will build on the document," she said.
Last month, Chemist and Druggist reported that Rowlands has hired Debby Crockford to act as a dedicated manager handling the implementation of the Healthy Living Pharmacy scheme.
