Actavis launches ten new products in July
Actavis has announced it launched ten new products in July, taking its UK portfolio to more than 500 medicines.
Of the releases, one – Nicorandil Tablets – was a brand new variety, seven were line extensions and two were off-patent medicines.
Among the product launches were the Exemestane 25mg tablets and Letrozole 2.5mg tablets, both of which hit the generics market on the first day of their patent expiry.
Line extensions included Baclofen Oral Solution, Oxybutynin 5mg tablets in an 84 pack, Metformin Oral Solution in a 100ml bottle, 100-tablet packs of Diltiazem and Glyceryl Trinitrate Spray in a 180-dose bottle.
The company has continued its run of product launches by expanding its portfolio further with the addition of Letrozole tablets, which are also available on day one of their patent expiry.
Representing the seventh first-day patent expiry release from Actavis this year, the tablets are available in 2.5mg strength in packs of either 14 or 28.
