Beckman Coulter introduces new benchtop centrifuge
Beckman Coulter has unveiled its medium-capacity Allegra X-30 Series Benchtop Centrifuge for clinical sample preparation and general research use.
Measuring just 18 inches wide, the compact instrument was showcased at the 2011 AACC/ASCLS Annual Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo in Atlanta, Georgia, which ran from July 24th to 28th.
It is available to purchase as a standalone product, or packaged with the appropriate rotors and labware necessary to offer high-level performance over several applications.
The centrifuge is being offered with the company's newest swinging-bucket rotor and 15 and 50 mL conical tube adapters, all of which combine to create a cell culture application package.
Patrick O'Donnell, strategic marketing manager for Beckman Coulter Centrifugation, said: "We're pleased to bring these user and sample-friendly, class-leading instruments to the lab."
The organisation also used the Clinical Lab Expo to preview its high-throughput chemistry analysers, as well as cutting-edge cellular analysis systems and clinical information solutions.
